Report on housing environmental standards (23/6/2008) Report on housing environmental standards

The report examines the interpretation and guidance for the environmental standard of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

The project to provide interpretation and guidance about the environmental standard of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard was carried out jointly by Groundwork Wales and TPAS Cymru and was funded through the New Ideas Fund of the Welsh Assembly Government.

The WHQS Environmental Standard report examines the range of approaches and practices for the environmental standard by a sample of local authorities which are retaining their housing stock or in the process of transfer; examines good practice in a range of environmental projects; and a literature review of good practice advice for enviornmental improvement projects and community engagement.
